**Adjusts** the caller ID name seen by your phones or agents—like prefixing it with “VIP - ” or appending something else.

## **Basic Usage**

- 
**Wire** it before a ring group or queue.

- 
**Configure** how you want the caller ID name changed.

- 
**Wire** the **next** outcome to your ring group or queue.

## Detailed Parameters

- 
**Action**

**Prefix**: Adds text at the beginning of the caller’s name (e.g. `[VIP] `).

- 
**Suffix**: Adds text at the end.

- 
**Replace**: Replaces the entire name with a new one (be cautious).

- 
**Text**

**What:** The exact string you add, like `VIP - `or `[Sales Call]`.

- 
**Tip:** Keep it short, since phones often have limited display space.

## Example Use Case

- 
**VIP Tagging**: If you used a “What-If” node to detect “VIP,” then route calls here to add the prefix “VIP - ” to the caller ID before ringing the “Sales” group.
