Calls to 1300 and 1800 numbers contain additional data which allows us to see the caller’s location/area.

Calls to 1300 and 1800 numbers contain additional data which allows us to see the caller’s location/area.

This can be used to direct calls from different states to different local numbers.

I.e. a call from a mobile in WA can be sent to a different answer point, versus a local call from NSW.

To implement this feature for you we need to have a default DID and subsequent DIDs for each of the states you would like to have a different answering point assigned.

If you have any questions in regards to this feature, you can contact support@simtex.com.au
