    For only $6.95 per month you can make multiple outgoing calls. Simtex has a requirement for at least one DID and a single incoming channel for all accounts.

    Category A or C? What does this mean?
    There are two types of porting submissions. Simple (Cat A) or Complex (Cat C). Some services are Cat C only – such as 100 number blocks, or any number porting from an ISDN service. Cat C ports normally take the longest time to complete. Cat A ports are normally single PSTN or analogue lines.

  • Fax to E-Mail (PDF)

    Simtex offers a simple solution for those of us who need to receive paper dinosaurs - faxes!

    A simple $8.00 per month fee, plus an additional or existing DID for $1.95 per month is all that's required to have your own virtual fax service. Faxes sent to you are delivered via e-mail with a PDF attachment.

  • Note! This number must be lodged in the previous Number Porting section of this form.

  • Security Alarm Compatibility

  • Majority of security alarm systems are not compatible with VoIP services. Before you proceed further with your application, you should consult your security systems provider to confirm your system compatibility and investigate if alternative solutions may be available to you. For more information refer to our Help Article.

  • Some medical alarm systems may not be compatible with VoIP services. Before you proceed further with your application, you should consult your medical alarm systems provider to confirm your system compatibility and investigate if alternative solutions may be available to you.

    If you're moving to or you're already connected to the NBN, it's important to register your medical alarm (monitored and unmonitored), autodialler or emergency call button with nbn's Medical Alarm Register.
  • Priority Assistance

  • Priority Assistance is for customers, or a person living at their home, who have a diagnosed life threatening medical condition, and whose life may be at risk if they don’t have access to a working phone line service.

    At this time Simtex does not provide Priority Assistance. Should you require Priority Assistance you may wish to engage Telstra as your service provider. Please ensure to request Priority Assistance when discussing your service requirements.

    Please note there will be a 2-3 day delay for precharging your account via Direct Debit.
