Below are three case studies based around the varying requirements of Simtex customers.

Road Warrior

Tony Wright spends up to 180 days on the road each year and has had enough of paying high hotel call costs. With Simtex, he makes calls by opening his laptop, plugging in a headset with microphone, and connecting via the Internet to any phone, on or off the Internet, anywhere in the world.

Whilst he is connected, people call Tony (regardless of location) on his normal telephone number supplied by Simtex. Even after he pays the hotel's Internet access fee, the calls are much cheaper than using the hotel phone and the inbound calls provide a feature not previously available whilst in a hotel.

Tony also loves to be able to sit in WiFi coffee shops to enjoy the atmosphere whilst being able to use his IP phone. This significantly reduces his mobile phone costs whilst providing a relaxed working atmosphere.

Residential User

Kelly James is a Mum with two young children. By using an adapter for her existing cordless phone, Kelly has been able to take advantage of free calls to her friends whilst doing her housework. With no restrictions on the number of free calls, she happily keeps in touch all day without concern as to the cost.

Students

Tim, Kane and James are all university students. Whilst they are great mates, there were often arguments when it came to the splitting of their phone bill. Kane and James knew that Tim made a lot of local calls, however when it came to paying for them, it was very difficult to track exactly who should be paying for what. Simtex solved this issue by providing separate accounts to separate phones – without the associated line rental costs that each of them would need to pay if they used a traditional carrier.

As long as there is an Internet connection available, you can activate multiple IP phones and have them billed to different accounts. Each account has its own phone number and may receive calls anywhere in the world without additional configuration. Nothing could be easier.
